Entity 2 "Screamers"

5' to 6' tall, Hostile, ☠️ II - Moderate Screamers are tall skinny staticky bipedal entities with two long legs, two long arms, and two short arms. They wander seemingly aimlessly around various zones searching for explorers. When a Screamer detects a nearby person they will bring their hands to their cheeks, tilt their head upwards, and release the loudest most earsplitting scream imaginable. It echoes in hearable range as well as ultra-high frequencies outside of human hearing. The sound resembles a female human scream mixed with distortions and gritty glitches. It is recommended to protect your ears when such a scream occurs as they can cause hearing damage. The primary purpose of these screams is the real danger however. In addition to intimidation, these demonic screams are used as a signal alarm to tell other Screamers---as well as other entities the location of their prey. |
The Screamer will continue to scream until reinforcements arrive, after which they will slowly move towards you, waving their arms wildly like whips. These attacks aren't especially dangerous on their own, but in groups of Screamers and other entities, the risk definitely adds up. If one encounters a Screamer it is highly recommended to run in the opposite direction as Screamers are not especially speedy. They seem to be relatively resistant to traditional guns and explosives due to their partially non-corporeal form, so it takes an extra bit of firepower when using traditional weaponry. One will generally have better luck using certain chemical weapons or T.A.S.K.'s specially-devised GhostKiller ammo.
