Object 3 "Waytrackers"
Waytrackers are multi-function communications and navigation devices. Generally they consist of a time-distortion-proof clock, an advanced location-tracking ability, intra-zone radio communications and iNet access (in certain zones). Using a collection of sensors these devices can map out routes that have been taken, mark waypoints, and save mapping data to an internal card. It is highly recommended to not explore any zones until at least one person in one's group has a fully-functioning Waytracker. There are two reliable manufacturers of Waytrackers in The Darkrooms.

T.A.S.K. Waytrackers
T.A.S.K. has built some variety of Waytracker for 15 years, starting with experimental prototypes and releasing the original Model-A 12 years ago. Currently the most modern edition is the Model-F which features extra intuitive cloud storage systems, a higher quality screen, and larger battery.
Technix Waytrackers (Voyager Line)
